The Prosegur FoundationIn collaboration with Movistar Prosegur alarms (MPA) and with the participation of leave the foundation, today completed the second edition of its program to improve youth employability and promote access to employment for young people in the alarm sector. This initiative, which is part of Fundación Exit’s E3 Challenge: School Success and Employability Business Alliance, aims to counteract early school leaving and contribute to improving the employability of young people in precarious situations.
The bespoke Alarm Installer Technician training program offers students theoretical and practical training in one of the Prosegur approved centres, as well as the development of transversal skills and a strong customer-centric vision. All this hand in hand with the Movistar Prosegur Alarmas training team, which, in collaboration with the Fundación Exit and the company’s human resources department, constantly monitors the development of the candidates.
After the experience in Barcelona in 2022, the program in Madrid started its second edition and had the participation of 15 students aged between 18 and 25 with little work experience and/or qualifications. Of particular note is the increase in female participation, which reflects the company’s commitment to inclusion and diversity and the promotion of female talent in the workplace.
An opportunity to gain access to a sector with high potential
Diego Torrico, CEO of Movistar Prosegur Alarms, explains: “This initiative is created to offer job opportunities to people under 25 years old in Spain. We want to combine the needs of the company with young talents looking for development opportunities. Not only do we offer young people the opportunity to gain access to an industry with high potential, but also a more stable future through employment.”
Gerard Rivera (24 years old), one of the young students of the first edition of the program, shares his experience: “What motivates us so much for this training is the desire to work at Movistar Prosegur Alarms and to take advantage of the best technical possibilities. ” . This project marked a before and after in my professional career.”
The Prosegur Foundation Its mission is to promote initiatives of shared benefit between society and business in the field of education, in order to offer development opportunities to new generations, particularly the most vulnerable groups. Isabel Sampedro, Global Manager of the Prosegur Foundation, emphasizes: “Everything depends on education: it is the lever for change. And in this sense, the project responds not only to a complex social context, but also to a real business need for appropriate technical profiles. It creates value for both parties and does so in a sustainable way.”

The results of this joint project show that complex problems such as youth unemployment require joint solutions. And the group of young participants, with their commitment and motivation, managed to turn this initiative into a real opportunity to be protagonists of their present and future.”
